  • Candidates must bring the following documents to the Test Centre.
    Print copy of CSIR NET Admit Card downloaded from NTA website.
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form) should be taken along for pasting on the specific space in the Attendance Sheet at Centre during the Examination.
  • Any one of the authorized Govt. Photo IDs (must be original, valid and non-expired) – PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter
    ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration
    Card).
  • The name on the photo identification must match with the name as shown on the Admit Card.

Here is good news for all the aspirants who have applied for the CSIR NET 2020 Examination.

The National Testing Agency has reopened the CSIR NET Correction Window one last time for the aspirants who want to make changes in the choice of exam cities.'
The correction window will be open from 19th October 2020 to 20th October 2020.

Recently NTA has announced to conduct the CSIR NET 2020 Examination on 19th, 21st and 26th November 2020. So, candidates are advised to prepare themselves accordingly.

The CSIR NET JRF Exam is conducted by National Testing Agency for only science stream subjects which are -

Physical Sciences
Chemical Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Life Sciences
Earth Sciences

So, you have to only choose that CSIR NET Subject in which you have pursued your psotgraduation.

Here you can check the CSIR NET Subject Eligibility.

If the CSIR NET Subject list is not matching with your postgraduation subject then you have to select the related subject from the list.

The difficulty level of all these subjects are different as per their syllabus.

CSIR NET Earth Science syllabus is divided into three parts i.e.Part A, Part B, and Part C.
The syllabus of Part A is of General Aptitude type. So, there will be no difficulty for the aspirants to solve the questions of this section.
But, the syllabus of Part B and Part C is quite hard to cover.

The syllabus of CSIR NET Exam consists of three parts Part A, B, and C. In these 3 sections, Part A is completely dedicated to CSIR NET General Aptitude, and the remaining two sections are based on subject wise questions.

The CSIR NET Syllabus for Paper 1 is as following -

Numerical Ability -

Number and Simplification, LCM and HCF Average, Quadratic Equations, Sequence and Series, Surds and Indices, Logarithms, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Ratio, Proportion and Variation, Partnership, Alligation and Mixture. Time Speed and Distance, Time and Work, Permutations and Combinations, Probability, Geometry, Mensuration, Trigonometry, etc.

Reasoning -

Series Formation, Coding-Decoding, Distance and Directions, Calendar and Clock, Ranking and Arrangement, Puzzles, etc.

Data Interpretation and Graphical Analysis -

Mean, Median, Mode, Measures of Dispersion, Graphical Analysis: Bar Graph, Line Graph, Pie-Chart, Tabulation.

As per the latest news, National Testing Agency has opened the CSIR NET Form Correction Window on 11th September 2020.
Candidates can make the changes in their application forms till 17th September 2020.

Till now, NTA has not released any new notification for conducting the examination. But it is expected that the CSIR NET Exam will be held in 2nd Week of November 2020 as per HRDG tweet.

The National Testing Agency has re-opened the CSIR NET June 2020 Application portal for the candidates who missed the chance to apply for this examination.

Here are the dates for application -
Starting Date - 22nd August 2020
End Date - 10th September 2020

NTA will also conduct the application correction process for the aspirants who may make mistakes while applying for the exam.

NTA has released the official notification for conducting the UGC NET June 2020 Examination.
As per the official notice, the exam will be held from 16th to 18th and 21st to 25th September 2020.
Those who have applied for the exam will be able to download their admit cards 15 days before the examination.

The division of CSIR i.e. Human Resources Development Group (HRDG), has tweeted about conducting the CSIR NET 2020 Exam.

As we all know that there are various exams in India that got postponed due to this Covid-19 pandemic and due to this the CSIR NET 2020 Exam has also get postponed.

There are lakh of candidates who applied for the exam but the date is not confirmed yet by the officials for organising the exam.

The registration process and form correction process has already completed by the NTA in July 2020.

Now it is expected that the CSIR NET 2020 Exam is going to be conducted in September tentatively.

Candidates who have applied for the exam are suggested to check all the updates from the official site.

There is a big confusion between candidates who wants to apply for CSIR NET Examination.
Candidates have to choose a category from the available options in the application form.
Those who are from Creamy Layers have a doubt whether should they apply for OBC category or General Category.
Here I'm writing to clear this doubt.
Those who belongs from OBC (Non Creamy Layer) should choose the category OBC (Non Creamy Layer)
Thoe who belongs from Creamy Layer should choose the "General" category in their forms.
